Stories have been my inspiration all my life. I love to read and write about people facing adversity and show how they overcome situations. In writing the Adrielle Maddox series, I delve into the lives of six friends and their journey to save the world.
The protagonist, Adrielle Maddox, is a strong female lead but like many of us, doesn’t start out that way. She wants to fit in and dislikes her many quirks. However, fitting in is not how the world changes. I hope to show that if we embrace our differences, we may find our super power within and make this world a better place. I hope you enjoy this series and my characters.
Montana Wakefield is the author of the “Adrielle Maddox” series and other forthcoming books, her illustrated children’s book series, “Squiggley Wiggley: the Magical Blue Bear,” and mystery novel, “Twist in Fate,” is a lover of life and has an unquenchable thirst for the next adventure. As an avid reader and writer, she’s a firm believer that stories unite us all on a deeper level and will enrich our lives if we embrace the imagination within us.
Montana studied fine arts and writing at the University of Calgary, attended the Royal Conservatory of Music for classical guitar, paints, writes songs, and loves to play with her dog Scarlatti. This mother of three is happily married to her husband, close to all her siblings, is an avid TV binger, and is constantly surprised by life’s turn of events. Her mission in life is to spread a little fun, love deeply, and stay true to her belief that each of us can reach unfathomable heights if we learn to belief in ourselves and each other.
